Smt. Angoori Devi Educational and Cultural Society running the Aster Group of Schools and Colleges is founded as a tribute to his mother Smt. Angoori Devi by her illustrious son, Mr. V.K. Sharma. Aster Public Schools are the apex bodies of this society.

Aster Public School, Mayur Vihar, Delhi, the mother of Aster Group of Schools and Colleges came into existence in 1994, as a result of the profound vision of its Founder Mr. V.K. Sharma and the Chairman Mr. H.S. Sharma, who had a dream of such an institution where inherent talents are nurtured and hidden talents are bloomed to their maximum potential.

Aster Public School, Greater Noida started with a modest number of students virtually in the jungles in tents in 2002 and upgraded to senior secondary school, with all the three streams – Science, Commerce and Humanities in 2007. Within a short span of eight years, the school has emerged and progressed leaps and bounds and made its name on the educational map of Greater Noida against all odds and constraints. The school has reached the strength of 1600 students and will grow further rapidly with the coming up of the new building and infrastructure.

The school is located on a lush green expanse of land and exudes an environmental friendly ambience. The raising of school building to its present magnanimous look and grandeur is an indication that the Management of the school is very serious to give the very best for the cause of school education.

The school is catering not only to the needs of the urban strata of the society but also of the rural neighbourhood, which reflect its composite nature.

Aster College of Education is a reputed college of Teachers’ Training under Ch. Charan Singh University having 200 seats for B.Ed. College is going to start M.Ed. also in the ensuing session 2010-2011. This college is also going to start BBA and BCA in the academic session 2010-2011.

It is a matter of great pride and rare distinction that Aster Public School, Greater Noida has been awarded the ‘Best Landscape and Garden Display / Planning Trophy’ consecutively for three years i.e. 2007, 2009 and 2010 by the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority.

The word ‘Aster’denotes the beautiful pink and purple flower from the daisy family and also a star. The flower blooms and blossoms on Earth and the star shines in the firmament. For the Asterians the sky is the limit. The School Emblem in hues of blue and silver, is a blend of both – the flower and the star.
