The school was founded in 2002 with a modest number of students in a sprawling campus of 7 acres. It is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, where students are prepared for All India Senior School Certificate Examination (Grade 12). with all the three streams – Science, Commerce and Humanities. The school has emerged and progressed leaps and bounds and made its name not only on Delhi and NCR, also in Surat, Gujarat as well. It is reflected by the fact that the strength of the school is continuously growing in numbers and stature. Aster College of Education – Greater Noida, one of the premier Institutions of Meerut University in the field of Teacher Education came into existence in the year 2004 with the B.Ed (200 seats) course recognised by NCTE and affiliated to CCS University Meerut that prepares Teachers for upper primary or middle level, secondary level, and senior secondary level. Besides preparing Teacher Educators it also aims at preparing educational administrators, supervisors, and researchers. The Masters of Education program (M.Ed) has 35 seats and it is meant for candidates desirous of pursuing post graduation in education.

Another course is added to the College by the introduction of the BTC course (50 seats) from the session 2013-2014 to prepare the Middle Teachers, especially in the field of Primary Education. The college is known for its academic excellence and quality management and eco-friendly ambience which is reflected by NAAC accreditation and ISO Certification (ISO-9001-2008 for QMS & ISO-14001-2004) for Quality Management and Environment.
