WHY SHOULD YOU SEND YOUR CHILD TO ASTER…….
Going to school is paramount and imperative- schools get their recognition more by word of mouth than advertisements, the personal experience of the alumnus is the best source which gives sufficient information about the Alma Mater. The noble edifice which is the” unsung hero” plays a very important role and has a special place in everyone’s life, the pride and the standing you have in the society, is the reward of the tutelage. Hence, it is considered as the second home. In the beginning, the early learners hate coming to school they leave their heart at home, for the mother is their security quotient. Let’s not forget that their coming to school in the formative years is not by will.
I am citing an example, As a three-year-old, the day I stepped into my school, I was howling and roaring I felt as though I am left in a monster’s cave and has gone away.” I felt so helpless and was unable to adjust myself into the new environment which appeared different, each day was an ordeal, I realized that this is a common problem with every school child when I read the poem “Seven Stages of Man” by William Shakespeare.
I am associated with Aster School, since the last three years; I feel a lot of effort is put into making the classroom cozy and homely , even the smallest things are taken care of because they get a positive feel and are comfortable, freshly painted walls having vibrant colors, favorite cartoon character, the moon and stars the trees and nature to be admired from the word go, they go around observing the things and get familiar with them. They are made to feel at home in every possible way.
The endearing look of the teacher is a morale booster to the first dayers at school. One can often see them tagging along with their teacher, and often she appears to be the Pied Piper of Hamelin with a few of them tagging along with her.
The method of teaching that is imparted at our end is not bookish or stressful, they have a play way method and learning by doing, the practical experience without stress has a valued impact on the taught and cements a base for learning. We ensure that the students are learning with ease and joyfully enjoying their lessons. We loathe the idea of pupils carrying bags laden with books. The school has provisions to keep their learning material and on weekends the same is sent home so that the parents can have a look at the progress their child is making.
To simplify learning, the school adopts various techniques, the recapitalization of the lesson learned earlier by putting forth questions by conducting a quiz so that the pupils are made at ease.
Some lessons can be enjoyed in the form of a story and fusing two subjects this technique gives the students optimum learning and understanding as well. Methods opted by the teachers are student-centric.
The teachers are instructed to take special care of children who have any disability.
The recently introduced “Happiness” Curriculum was already a part of our syllabus. The school emphasizes that each student builds a strong character and realizes his duty towards his family, parents and the Nation.
